What do I do with my current printer?

Sometimes receiving a new printer means getting rid of an old one. For that we have the Trade-In Program which will ship your old device for free, recycle it for free, and send you a rebate check. For more information look under Product Info.

Is this a lease or a contract?

No. TheFreePrinter.com isn't a lease or a contract, it's a usage agreement.

How do I qualify?

In order to qualify you simply need to be an established business of at least two years with a good credit history.

What happens if I print more or less than my monthly page commitment?

You do have a minimum color usage that you will be charged for even if you use less than your monthly commitment. If you print more than your monthly commitment then you will simply be charged the low per click rate associated with your device.

Does my office ever have to give the Phaser back?

You will have the option to receive a new free printer at the end of your agreement.

Are all consumable items included, such as normal replaceable maintenance parts?

Yes. There are no additional charges to the monthly usage fee.

Does the cost per page vary with the amount of toner being used?

No. The cost is fixed for the entire term of your agreement regardless of the percentage of coverage.

Will my supply re-orders be questioned?

No. Xerox not only knows the page count of all devices but also the percentage of coverage. This assures you that you will receive adequate re-supply quantities without question. Do note that these are metered supplies that will not work in unmetered devices.

How do you track what I print?

Xerox has a small piece of software called the Pagepack Assistant. It runs as a service on a PC or server.  

How do I request free supplies or free service?

The PagePack Assistant has links to the supplies and service request websites. You will receive login credentials when you begin the program. 

 Is the program you use to track my printing safe for my network?

Yes. The PagePack Assistant communicates over standard internet ports for HTTP (80 and 443) and no job specific data is sent.

How soon will I receive supply reorders?

Within 24 hours supplies are shipped via AIR. You will only receive first party Xerox supplies.

How much is shipping?

Free. There are no additional charges to our TheFreePrinter.com customers.

What does free service cover?

Xerox trained technicians will be dispatched to you onsite free of charge and will use Xerox first party parts free of charge.

Are there any items that are not included in the usage fee?

Yes. You are responsible for your paper.

Will the usage fee increase during the term of the contract?

No. Your usage fee is fixed for the term of your agreement.

If I have locations in other cities or states does this influence service billing, setup or dispatching in any way?

No. TheFreePrinter.com will manage each location within the United States.
